Queen Victoria's Diamond Crown - Choker

The design for this choker is taken from the top cross and shoulders of Queen Victoria's small diamond crown.
In 1870, Queen Victoria, finding the Imperial State Crown too heavy, commissioned this small, Tudor style crown to be made, using diamonds from her personal collection. Many portraits and sculptures show her wearing it high on her bun hairstyle.
Our richly silver plated choker is fully claw-set with Austrian crystals. Fitted with a Lobster claw clasp and adjustable chain fitting. Hand-made in England.
