The design for these ear studs are taken from the top cross of Queen Victoria's small diamond crown
In 1870, Queen Victoria, finding the Imperial State Crown too heavy, commissioned this small, Tudor style crown to be made, using diamonds from her personal collection. Many portraits and sculptures show her wearing it high on her bun hairstyle.
These elegant ear-studs are set with Austrian crystals, and have surgical steel posts and comfort backs. Hand-made in England.
