 Zoom image		This delightful crown made in the 'Empire' style was created for Maximillian I in 1806 when Bavaria was raised to the status of a kingdom.

Designed and made by Biennais the most famous French goldsmith of the day. The crown is beautifully set with rubies, diamonds, emeralds, sapphires and pearls.
