George IV State Diadem Cluster Brooch

This diadem was made for the coronation of George IV in 1820, but is better known as the one worn by Queen Victoria and our current Queen Elizabeth II on ceremonial state occasions. It also features on coins, bank notes and stamps, making it the most recognisable piece of the Queens Jewellery.
It bears the symbols of the rose, thistle and shamrock, which is the inspiration for this brooch.
Silver plated and set entirely with Austrian crystal stones. Fitted with a safety catch back. Hand-made in England.
